Entering US with Advance Parole.

I'm outside US and plan to enter USA with Advance Parole.
What documents should I carry ?
Is letter, from current or GC sponsor, company required ?

All, specially who used AP recently, please share you experience when entering USA with Advance Parole.

--------- valid passport and valid AP and Air ticket.
Is letter, from current or GC sponsor, company required ?
---------- you can get and show only if asked at POE.
All, specially who used AP recently, please share you experience when entering USA with Advance Parole.

My Question to all Senior Members: Can a person on H1b (having I 140 Approved in EB3) have AP? I have different information from different people and I am confused. I wanted to go to india for vacations and wanted to know if I can apply for advance parole for me and my family while still on H1 status. Some people are suggesting that AP applied only to persons who are on EAD or have approved 485. Secondly, after coming back on AP , is there any process that has to be completed to revert back to come on H1B status?

-------NO. you need I-485 filed then only you are eligible to file AP or EAD

-------------------------you can apply AP if I-485 is Pending. AP and EAD are based on Pending I-485

Some people are suggesting that AP applied only to persons who are on EAD or have approved 485.
----------if I-485 is approved why one need AP ? one gets GC after I-485 approval.
Secondly, after coming back on AP , is there any process that has to be completed to revert back to come on H1B status?
------------if one USE AP for reentry to US and Going to work for same employer who filed latest H1 then one is on H1 status and can also file H1 extensions.
