Entering the US from another country than where you did CP

I am a DV 2007 winner. I will have my CP interview overseas in August. After that I plan to visit Canada before entering the US. Is this going to be a problem? Can I go to another country (in this case Canada) before entering the US after doing my CP interview in the Middle East?

Well I am going to apply for one next week but I posed the question assuming that I have one of course. So yes this is assuming one has a Canadian visa. Have you been through a similar route before?
 
no i haven't , but if you will have both Canadian and US visa , there is no problem entering the US from canada. you are not braking any law.
