Entering on AP/H1 after approval of 485?

Guys,

What happens when a person's 485 is approved while he is out of US and tries to enter US on AP or H1? Is he still fine?

Also, if one has just a few days left on H1 (about 10 odd) should he enter on H1 or is AP a better option?

I think you can only enter through AP after approval.

You can use either AP (if you have one) or H1 approval (just like you were on H1).
