Entering Germany and going to france<-

Hello I am in germany on a RTD and want to know if I travel to france by road and return to u.s by paris will there be trouble at the airport regarding not having a visa..as u know germany doesnt require a visa but i think france does..Has anyone had any experience with that... please let me know asap so i know waht to do...thanks

The French as a matter of policy do not issue visas on US RTDs unless you also have a green card.

A few months ago I flew from Berlin to Paris on my RTD without any issues. These two countries are parties to the so-called Schengen Accord.


So you can go ahead and attempt to enter France. You will probably be admitted without any problems, but it is not 100%.
