Enter POE with Old Employer Visa and New Employer I797

Hi,
I have a valid Visa from Employer A till May 2012. I moved to a new Employer B in Feb 2010 and my H1B was approved tillJan 2013.
I am planning to Visit India in June. Can i come back to US, New Jersey with my Old Emloyer Visa and New I797.

You can enter US with that visa stamp and at POE show the Valid Visa stamp AND H1 approval notice of new employer B and you will get I-94 till Jan 2013. Check the validity of I-94 at POE and if mistake point it to officer. Take latest pay stubs, employer letter and other documents with you and show only what is asked. talk to your company lawyer if you need to take any extra documents.
Do you have I-94 attached with your H1 transfer approval notice of B?

Hey, I am going to canada to get a new I-94. Which airport did you go to ?
I have a valid visa and I-94 from company A until next year. I got laid off due to acquisition and I joined B but in a matter of 5 days diff, company A withdrew my H1 and company B filed a extension. The extension was denied but got a new H1 approval notice without I-94. My attorney asked me to go to canada. In the past I went to calgary for H1 visa stamp. Now I am thinking to go to vancouver airport as i am in west coast.
Did the officer ask you any questions when U showed the H1 copy. Did he ask you why ur I-94 was missing ? what did you say. Any docs did u carry?
I had filed my 485/AP and EAD. I jsut recieved email confirmation of acceptance as it was filed 2 weeks ago
