Fiance visit while in K1 process?
Hi, I'm a U.S. citizen and my fiance is an Australian Citizen. We are curently in the K1 process, the initial petition has been filed within the past month. My family is throwing us an engagment party over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Does anyone know what the chances are that he will be denied entry to visit me for a few weeks in the U.S.? Or if there is a chance he will be denied at all just because we are already in the process of bringing him over on a K1?
We have every intention of not getting married while he is here visiting and every intention of him going back home. We're trying to make sure we do everything legally and our lawyer wasn't completely clear on if he was allowed to come in for the engagement party or if he was not allowed to come in on a temp visitor visa at all. ARRRGH.
