Endorsing husbands name on Passport

Hi,

Does a wife need to endorse her husband's name on the passport for revalidation.

The situation is
Married in 2000 , came to US with the old name as all documents were made in that name. After that did 2 revalidations in US.

Now if going to India and getting revaloidation will one need to endorse the husband's name in passport.

------------- if you are on H1 and name on passport and petition is same you dont need to endorse huband name on PP, you can passport visa stamp on the passport you are having. if you are on H4 and need to get H4 stamp from Bombay US consulate then you need your spouse name endorse on passport.
