Based on recent approval trend in VSC (this forum), it appears to me that VSC has stopped random approvlas. Most of the recent approvals are for 2001 and early 2002 cases (upto May'2002). Let's pray that this observation is correct. Well, there might be an exception here and there, but let's see the general trend.

Backlog reduction
This is just another evidence of their current backlog reduction plan. They were supposed to formally issue a total plan in June/July. However this trend was reported also by "Murthy" and others. Their current policy, along with the pilot programs and memos and directives is to clear the concurrent cases and eventually go back to the old cases, time and resources permitting. To further excuse their stupidity they claim backlogs in the ASCs for Fps, case in point Philly among others.

I was horribly wrong in my observation. It seems that the lottery system has intensified now. Yesterday we have seen two 2003 approvals and today i have seen Murthy bulletin where she says that she is seeing some 2003 approvals for her clients. One of the May'2003 RD also got approved last week 
. This is bad news for all the 2001 and 2002 filers and also this is by no means a good news for those who have filed even in 2003 because i don't think that they will process all those cases as fast as they are doing for a handful of cases. Remember that they started approving October'02 cases about 4 or 5 months back and till date they have not approved even 5% of those cases.

just wondering....
whether they are trying to drive a wedge between various groups of 485-applicants. thinking about the whole class-action part of the lawsuit, if they can prove that we don't really represent one and the same group they can get that turned down. too heavy protests by us long-time applicants from 2001 and early 2002 can provide enough proof i guess. and they probably expect us to protest in big numbers since even a lawsuit was filed!
