Employment Letters

Hi,

My wife (on H4 visa) will apply for I-485, EAD & AP.

Few questions:

- Does she need to submit detailed employment letters explaining nature of duties?

- Are there any restrictions to stay in US upon filing of these applications and prior to receiving the reciept?

I don't think your wife has to submit the experience letters at all. There is not restrictions to stay in US till you get your receipt notice.

------ NO, she is filing your dependent for derivative I-485, EAD AP she need not to submit any employment letter as she was not allowed to work in US on H4 visa status

------ She should be on valid H4 status when she file I-485, EAD and AP. Once she receives the receipt of I-485 filing she will be on AOS pending status, if she has still H4 visa status she will be on H4 status till her I-94 expires AND AOS status
