hello folks

I have my labor approved thru RIR and I am in the process of obtaining employment letters. One of the employer wants to use a 'might have used the following technologies...." in the job description. is this ok?

during the 140 stage.. does the immigration dept. personally contact the employer and enquire about the letter and its contents?

any input on this is appreciated

thanks a lot

Hi Sirme,
Employment letter of ur current employer.Or
ur exp letter frm ur previous employer.clarify this please.
If it's abt ur current employer U did need an employer letter saying he is willing 2 give an job .according 2 the labor cert,
If it's abt experience letter u should submit
it before filling ur 140 or be prepared for an
RFE later from BCIS.

sorry for the confusion

I am working for company A who filed green card on my behalf. They are providing complete proof of my current employment.

the question I had was regarding my previous employer. I got a letter from them, stating my job duties. I was wondering if this will be enough for BCIS to consider it valid or if they will call the previous employer to personally talk to the person who signed the letter?

thanks for your time
sirme

hi,
I don't think the will verify anything. But the
letter should be in an letterhead of the previous
company.
I had the same problem but i140 got approved
without any problem.All the best.

I've never known INS to check.

It certainly would be within their rights to investigate suspected fraud though and they certainly have the ability to check.

Don't count on them not checking.
