Guys,
Could you please let me know if we need to submit employment letter
during the time of filing I485?? My attorney is an idiot. He just
don\'t give a jack!!! Please help me out.. My attorney is sending my
Paper work Next week ..... HELP ME......
 
Yes, you need to submit

the Employement Letter signed by your company official, stating that position, for which GC is applied, is still open and will be open for you once you get GC and Company intends to continue your employemet as described in the approved labor certification and I-140 petition.
 
IF you dont send a emp. letter you will get RFE for sure.

IF your attorney is IDIOT just change it.

You definitely need one. Mine was about paragraph stating position that I am working on. It was very simple, does\'t even say after GC it
will be this or that position but simply the position and work
that I am doing now. that is it.
change your lawyer and file on your own.
 
My employer giving following letter will it work ?? URGENT !!

My employment letter was already taken by my attorney from my company.
Thanks, Quick question though, In the Biographic form I kept my
occupation as software engineer and on the Labor certification and
I140 it says system configurer.. Is that a problem?? Post ur thoughts
..Thanks a bunch in advance.

Have you mailed yours? My lawyer has not done that, he is sitting
on my application for no reason asking me small questions, I think that\'s how they make extra time and have fun while cases are on their hands. I am tried of these ... frustrated with this
particular guy.

Hi , I sent my signed forms and my original BC\'s to my attorney
yesterday in Fedex. The received them today. I am hoping that they
will be mailing to the INS atleast by Friday..

I have not checked with my lawyer today, I doubt he has mailed at all. He promises that he would do that
but never does it. See what he does next.
Ram, when was your I-140 approved?
Mine was approved on 2nd week of Dec and it has taken 6+ weeks to file I-485!

You gotto keep pushing it. Just talk to ur HR to push it harder...
 
HR has nothing to do with it.

they don\'t follow with these things that much even though they pay it.
now he says he already mailed it, should i believe it or not, I don\'t
know.
