JIM & Gurus, please help me.

My LC & I-140 has approved for the salary of 67k. Now i am getting 57k,
due to economic conditions (reduced 10k 4 months before). Employer said
they will make it to 67k after I-485 get approved. In the employment
letter (for I-485), if they are willing to put 67k, is it ok to proceed?

Please give me your suggestions.

in case of an RFE...

such as being asked to submit paystubs etc., how will you square any discrepancy in salary figures, assuming that your employer\'s "accommodativeness" does not extend to paystubs?

I guess quite a few people are in the same situation as yours.

As far as i know, there is no rule which states that you should be getting the same salary throughout ur GC process. Your LCA would have been approved under a specific job category. As long as ur salary does not fall below the minimum salary for that job category, it\'s fine. Moreover, if you are going to apply now, it would take a minimum of six months before u may (remote possibility) get an RFE, By that time, i think the economy would be much better. and u can get ur original salary. my suggestion is to go ahead with 67K in ur employment letter if ur employer is agreeing to do so.

Should be ok

67K is for a future job. Getting less than 67K now (before approval) is not unusual.

No Title

As my attorney said, the employer shall pay you 67K after your LC got approved. Not after I-485 get approved.
