Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to confirm that we wish to continue the employment of XXXX, an employee of the firm since YYYY, in the professional capacity of SOSO., a full-time and permanent postion.

....Job duties exactly as mentioned in I-140.......

My Comments:

I think all looked ok.
Except that whoever signed it, did not have the Department he/she belongs to on the Employment Letter, though he/she belongs to a high position in the company. What do u guys think, Is it ok or do u guys see any problem.

Any comments and suggestions/advice will be much appericated...

How long it takes once the CP file goes for review in Montreal?

We came to know that the file is gone for the review. How long usually it takes to review in Montreal? When should we expect our interview date? Anyone has any idea?
 
Things should be mentioned

He has been employed since xxxx 199x, salary $xxx, Position xxxxx

Definatley Notorised and on Company letter head - who signs is immaterial.. My HR manager signed it but they dont know!

This employment letter is required only for the purpose that you have a job now and will have one when you get back and not go on to Welfare etc. The current date on the letter indicates that.

It does not need the date from when you are working etc.. If it is mentioned no harm.

Some Q\'s regarding the Letter whihc i wud like to clarify

There is no mention of my current designation in the company. Is that gonna be a problem ?

The Job responsibilities points to I-140 as opposed to mentioning it specifically. Whats the take on this.Is this fine or need amendment. ?
