Employment letter has been asked for GC stamping

Hi...

I have been to local INS office for GC stamping, they asked to produce employment letter and salary details from employer.

did any one previously has faced this ???

case approved by NSC.
 
What a Great Idea

Rather than issuing RFE after RFE. If all they are interested in is whether your job offer is still valid. Whay don't they just get you to bring the employment letter to the passport stamping. Provide the letter and they stamp your passport. Don't and they can pass you back to NSC for review.
