Hello,

The N400 form asks for employment history for the past 5 years. I have always worked for the same company for the last 8 years. However during the past 5 years I relocated from my company's Branch in NY to the company's branch in ATLANTA. So in the employment history should I mention just 1 entry since it is the same company OR should I mention 2 entries - one for our office in NY and other for our office in ATLANTA?

Please help if you have relevant information on this.

You could probably go either way. The important thing is to list everything as truthfully as you can. When you fill stuff in on the form, remember why they want it. Most likely, the FBI could use that information if you have a name check problem.

They're aren't trying to trip you up, they just want as much background info as they can if they need to do a detailed check on you.

When I listed my employment history I gave the corporate address rather than branch location. Didn't seem to cause any problems during interview...

i had put in the physical address...as i had to go through a transfer too...within the city tht is....

Query11 - your response

Query11 - You said that you had listed the physical address since you had to transfer within your company in the same city.
So - did your provide 2 rows (2 entries) in the employment information table for the same employer? One with the employment dates and employer address for the 1st location and 2nd with the employment dates and employer address for the 2nd location? (both locations refering to the same company name?)

Thanks
