I have booked an appointment for my H1B visa stamping in Toronto. I was laid off by my first employer and stopped going to work for them on 06/25/04. However i was kept on their payroll until 08/24/04 (notification period). In the meanwhile i got another job and started work on 07/06/04.
I have verified that i was not out of H1B status as the H1B receipt was postmarked from INS as 06/16/04. Now for the dates of employment for my first employer do i mention (from mm/yyyy to 06/04) or (from mm/yyyy to 08/04). In other words, how does an overlap look on the form as long as it is explanable?
