Employment contract

My company is making me sign an employment agreement.
It states that I will offer my services to the company for 2 years from today(subject to review after 12 months), in return for the immigrant visa sponsorship.

There are no penalties indicated on the agreement, in case I break the agreement and leave the company very soon after I get my green card in July 2003.

I do not see any harm in signing the agreement.

Do you guys find anything fishy?
Something that they can hold me to?

Take the suggestions that come your way with a pinch of salt.
Talk to an attorney if possible.

Technically the employer can (if they are really serious) can
take steps to revoke the GC since this is employment based.

But what happens then is a big gray area. As I said
earlier have a talk with someone knowledgeble in this area.
