Hi, anyone who had same experience:

My application for employment authorization was approved on May 20th, 2004, and a notice was sent out on may 25th, 2005 in Nebraska center, however I have not received it. I called customer service center, I was told nothing can be taken untill 30 days pass.
Do anybody have similar experience?

My wife's AP document was never received by us. Its been more than 4 weeks since it was approved. I did not call them yet, i will try to call them today.

I am so relieve to see that I am not alone.
My EAD was approved in Texas on May 24 with the card/notice sent on May 27 and I still haven't received the card.
I am desperate!!!
Let me know if/when you get yours.

We had called the BCIS regarding the AP and they asked us to call exactly after 30 days from the date it was approved. I guess we will call again today.
 
Vermont Service Center - havent received wifes renewal EAD card after 15 days of EAD approval notice online. Most likely, it has happened due to address change. Luckily, my EAD card was forwarded by the post office to new address. her current EAD is expiring in a few days.
In this case, can we goto local INS office and get one issued from there?
 
Validity of EAD if I140 is RFE'D or denied

I have applied for GC- concurrent I140 and I485. My I 140 is still pending(ND Sept 20 2003) and I have received my EAD and AP. My H1b visa is expiring on June 30 2004.

1)I would like to know whether I can use my EAD to work from June 30 2004 and if I do so what would be the status of the EAD if I received a RFE on the I 140. Will it be still valid while I answer the I 140 RFE and can I still work.

2) If the I 140 is completely denied what are my options. Do I need to back to India and reapply for a H1b visa or can I get it done at the US consulate in Canada or Mexico?

Your thoughts and input would be much appreciated. Thanks

In your case, I think it will be better to renew your H1b, you can continue to work even your I140 is denied.

They will ask for your new address and ask you to wait 30 more days.
 
Hi, Anyone who may have same experience:

My EAD has been approved on May 25th, but I have not received it yet. I called CIS on May 28 when was over 30 days after approval, I was told that they will order a new card, I may call them again 30 days late if I fail to receive it again.

EAD Expiring! Urgent Help!

Folks:

My current EAP will expire 07/10/04. My second EAP application has been pending since 04/08/04 at TSC. I talked to my lawyer and he set me an appointment at the Dallas District Office on 07/13/04. I am really worried about the 4 days laps in EAD!

I am really frustrated with the whole process! Any thing that can be done to remedy this situation! Help please!

Is there a fax format and a fax number that I can use to enquire before it's too late!

Same here.
Called them on June 28 and they told me I should receive it within a month. If not, I have to call them again on July 28
Funny anecdote while I am at it. They sent my AP to my lawyer instead of me (yet again!). Aren't they confused!
By the way Yuhao, let me know when what is going on with your case and I'll do the same. It is good to know that I am not the only one in this situation (even if I don't wish it on anybody else!)

There has been some movement on my EAD...
I got the message this morning that it got returned to USCIS. This is quite bizarre since the address on the application is correct.
Oh well, I will call them again today to make sure they got the address straigth.
Yuhao, what about you? What is going on with yours?
