quick question. ive filed all my documents, i-485 etc for my family based greencard (my wife is a USC). i had my fingerprinting last week, and today i received a employment authorisation card. whats the point of this card? i mean i says im allowed to work, but how can i? i dont have a social security number so i cant open a bank account or pay taxes so why do i have it?anyone know how it works?
