Hi All,

Is it possible that the employer can send a fax to US Consulate in India while you are gone for CP interview and tell them that you are not going to work for them and can US Consulate deny CP on tht basis?

-- Thanks

If an employer goes to the trouble of letting the Consualte know the employment status or future employment offer, there is a very high chance that the VISA be denied due to possible fraud attempt (Telling one has a job offer, when he/she really doesnt)

I am employee of the company who filed by I140 and I have term with my company but no one know the future and that is why I asked that Qs.

Just in case if I go to India for CP and while I am gone to India my company send a fax to US consulate in India and tell them they are are firing me ...

Will that affect my CP?

May be I am tooooooo carefull and not ready to take chances

If the company gives you a notorized job offer letter and then send mail/fax to consulate that they are firing you, then THEY are commiting fraud.

Remember, there is a fine line between being paranoid and cautious. Relax , you are almost there.
