I am on F1 OPT . My employer is AWS (name on offer letter - Amazon Web Services, Inc. ). However after few months of joining, Amazon did some legal entity change for some of its employees starting 01/01/2023 and now my pay check is from another entity - Amazon Data Services, Inc. . The actual job / job duties/ employment / no of hours did not change but the legal employer entity changed. I realized this quite late. On OPT we should report any address/phone/employment change within 10 days to our DSO in SEVIS. I am realizing this change after quite some time. Should I report this to the DSO/SEVIS? What are the consequences of reporting this information late? Any effect on STEM OPT application (i will be applying soon)?
