Hi Guys,

I am H1 B visa employee of IT consulting firm based in new jersey. I have recently learnt that my employer who hold my H1 B visa is currently being investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for multi-state visa and mail fraud.

My labor is cleared and expecting 140 to be clear with in month or two.

Based upon the current situation i would like to know :

1q) how will this effect my current H1b status ?
2q) how will it effect my current GC process
3q) If I transfer to other company , how it will effect my GC Process, do I need to start my GC process all over again from filing labor

Appreciate you quick response.

Thanks

--------- May be canceled once charges are proved correct. Not immedeately (now) though.2q) how will it effect my current GC process
-------- If employer is found guilty, your GC (LC/140) will also be considered denied.3q) If I transfer to other company , how it will effect my GC Process, do I need to start my GC process all over again from filing labor
---------- your GC will have to start again, but that looks like the best option in these circumstances.
Appreciate you quick response.

Thanks
