I'm currently in the last stage of my GC. My employer is very nice. But since the job market is very bad, and due to those circumstances, if he lays me off - what could be the consequences ?
Q1. Will my GC processing continue ?
Q2. Can my Employer continue my GC processing even if I'm on bench ?
Q3. What are my prospects as I have my EAD already approved ?
Q4. What is the time frame in which I should find the new employer ?
Q5. If lay off happens, shoudl I look for a H1 job or EAD based job ?
Q6. Does the new employer has to do my H1 processing, or EAD transfer on his name ?
Q7. And does my new employer, has to continue my GC processing or the process starts from scratch ?
