Employer asking for signing a bond

Hi All,


I applied for two H1 b through 2 different employers and both got selected in lottery . I then decided to go with one and that employer processed my visa . After that i got the job and now he is asking me to sign a bond for working with him for 18 months . He never told me about this before. Now my question is can i go with my other employer though my I 797 has come and i have applied for my SSN .
Please help me in this. Its urgent too.

SSN is irrelevant, but once you qualified for a visa number any employer can file for a I-797 for you and you won't be subject to the quota again.
