Emp Letter Help

Gurus, people who have been thru this can you please help me with this :
Joined company A (Labour Cert thru A) and later moved to B , now to reply to an RFE (which says submit letter from CURRENT employer...) can I get an employment letter from company A (which is not the current but the prospective employer)
I little complex but please share your thoughts on this.

If you joined Comp.B after 180 days of filing 485 through Comp.A, then all you need is to get an employment letter from Comp.B. Make sure the job specification and requirements are quite similar to the ones mentioned in the labor certification which U recvd through company A. On the otherhand, if U joined Comp.B within 180 dys of applying 1485 through Comp.A, then U need to get a letter from Comp.A stating thatin that the position still remains open for you and you can join the firm after greencard approval. Hope this helps!

what would be the hire date if company A (whose Labour Cert was approved) provides the employment letter.
