With the current visa number availability am trying to file for parallel 140/485. The question is regarding my Birth Certificate. I have the official birth certificate, but it only has my First Name and my fathers first name mentioned on it. It does not have either my Mothers name or our last name. :eek: :eek:

Will this cause trouble while filing 485. Would they reject the application on that bases....

I have been trying to get another one from my birth country, but the authorities there are not co-operating... According to them, this is the only form they can provide.. Please please.. guru's.. Please provide your opinion.

alternative to birthcertificate you have

what i would suggest is , leave that birthcertificate and provide a non-availability certificate and your parents affidivitis for supporting you bc. Correcting the bc will be hard i guess given the time limit.
