Emergency visitor appointment at Chennai

Does anyone know on how to get an emergency visitor visa appointment at Chennai consulate.

My friend is suffering from cancer and doctor's say it is aggressive. She needs to get her family member from India for moral support. Is there a way to get an emergency appointment for visa interview. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
