Embassy Notification for Asylum spouse

Hi Guys,
Thanks for this helpful forum, I won't write long introduction but I will go directly into the middle of my case.

My Wife is in CA. as an asylum now and I'm in UAE, she has already petitioned form I-730 to get me joined here there and she got the approval about 3 weeks ago, she was informed that the next step is that the embassy in UAE will contact me for the interview??!!!

my questions are: "please bear with me".

* As we got the approval for my case about 3 weeks ago, when do I expect a call from the embassy? because its been 3 weeks already ??!!!
* Incase they didn't contact me what should I do? can I contact the embassy?
* What kind of documents should I bring with me in the interview?
* Do I need to sign or give my fingure prints on white paper at the interview?
* Incase everything is fine in the interview, how long does it take to get the visa and join my wife?
* Any other advices.

It depends on the countries. In my country, it normally takes between 3 months to 8 months before the embassy contacts the approved ones.

Try to contact your embassy after a week or so.
 
Have patience. It's a very long process but yes it depends upon the embassy. They will have to wait for security clearance and interview. It took me 1 year to bring my spouse here.
Once interview is done, then it is fast. You can always call the embassy and enquire.
