i have question to ask you regarding the thread about national passport

you suggested i get reentry travel document,

if i get re entry document will this hurt my naturalization if if i use it
for short trips,
my concern is re entry document give the impression iam leaving the country for more than one year

i would be grateful to you if you respond to me

should not be a problem for short visit unless you are abandoning the United States as your permanent home.

Unless you are away for more than 6 months, it may cause problems. To apply for naturalization, you have to be in the country for 30 months without any absence out of the country for more than 6 months...So for short trips, it is ok.
 
Yes I think everybody should get AP after GC approval. First of all fee is the same. Secondly it is valid for 2 years. So I don't see any reason why somebody should apply for RTD except if you want to travel to Germany without a visa. But again if you think logically, you are paying $165 to obtain RTD while visa for GErmany will cost you around $50 plus your document would have 2 years validity.
