mine was a transfered cases. File I485 in texas Oct 2002, transfered to Los angeles local office Oct 2004. last week, went to check status at local office and they said transfered my file to CSC in May 2005.

This is to inform you that the I-485 in question is still pending. The
reason
that it is still pending is that USCIS is awaiting completion of system
checks.
Not sure, what system checks means.
I had interview at local office and recieved denial letter. Filed MTR. Now based on the reponse, is it that my I485 re-opened.
When I went to check the status, officer told me that the computer system does not show that my I485 denied. So not sure what to think of it.
