Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing. KCC is currently scheduling visa numbers below 18,500 for your region for the month of March. If your case number is current, KCC will send a notification letter to you via postal mail. Please refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month.

My question is on 15 Jan they saying below 18,500 and on 17 Jan they saying below 7,875 anyone can explain this for me please?
 
In the first mail the sent you by accident the numbers for AF not AS

Cut-off numbers for you region are:

Januar: 6100
February: 6900
March: 7875

So please wait until your number becomes current.
 
Is it OK to inquire information from KCC about your status? What actually did your e-mail contained?
