eligible for OPT?

Hi,

I applied for H-4 to F-1 transfer in SEP-2011, still waiting for USCIS response.
Now, I'm graduating in MAY-2012, and I read somewhere that one has to be registered for "one ACADEMIC year" as fulltime...
So, Do i get OPT in this case? or shall I try to postpond my graduation?
