I have received my Green Card through my employment in March 2005. How long do I need to wait to apply for US Citizenship? If I marry a US citizen, still do I need to wait? If yes, for how long? Please advise.

3 years after marriage or 5 years after GC, whichever is sooner. And also, you need to specify in your form which category you are filing it under.
