Eligibility for H1

Hi All,
This question might have been asked a lot of times but I cold not find an answer anywhere on this forum so am posting it to you ppl.
I am have a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management (3 years graduation degree) from a recognized Indian University, and have 4.5 Years of work experience in the field of computers. During my graduation I also did computer courses from NIIT and scored some pretty good percentages on their tests. Other than that I don’t have any certificates or degrees in this field.
Currently I am a solution architect at a leading software company in India in the field of Business Intelligence, it is a specialized field and I have over 3 years of experience in this particular area (including 1 year in Hong Kong, if it matters at all). I want to apply for H1/L1 visa for US but my company says I might not be eligible for this as firstly I have a 3 years degree and secondly it’s a non-technical degree, they also mentioned that i will need at least 6 Years of experience to be eligible for H1.
I know for a fact that there are people with 3 years of experience and a 3 years degree who have successfully applied and got a H1 but they have BSc or some other technical degree. I have not come across anyone with a BCom or a BA who has either successfully cleared the H1 interview or even applied for a H1/L1 Visa.
If anyone on this forum has any informational regarding this it would be really helpful.

Try L1, it may work.
For H1 nowadays it is more and more difficult.

For a long future plan enroll a Correpondence MCA in any university. If you come to US later it will be helpful to get a GC.
