kindly please i need your help... i was accused in NGO's trail in Egypt i was working at International Republican Institute i get one year in prison, the execution on the sentence being suspended pending good behavior for three years..the verdict was on 4th of june 2013 ... i was in the USA during June 2013 and i returned back to egypt after the verdict because of my wife was pregnant and the birthdate was on july 2013 and my mother in law was died on 7th of june 2013 so i had to return to egypt to be with my wife .. the verdict was on 4th of june 2013 ... now i need to to return back to USA and applying for asylum. the question is do i have the chance to get approve on asylum after i leave from US and return back?

you would not know until you apply and i highly suggest you hire an experienced lawyer .
it seems that you have a good case, but returning to your country after the verdict without any harm by the authorities would prove that there is no danger if you return again. and would have an impact on the decision. this is just my opinion and again get a good lawyer . you would not find a clear satisfying answer .

since i returned to Egypt i cannot live like before the verdict
i am afraid of being arrested in any time because of my background from the case and in those days we have in Egypt some talking in the news about closing more NGOs and they arrest people who have opinions against the regime.
on the work basis i got a job but when the company know i was accused they fired me i cannot find job.
a lot of my friends, relatives and neighborhoods thought that i am a spy because i was working at American NGO and i was accused in the trial they wouldn't deal with me which is that effect on my wife and my child.
