Someone plz advise me when to apply for Citizenship?
My Resident Since date is 03/21/05
i personally think to apply on or after December 21st 09
but puzzeld cause of another member's post and he said he was approved on nov 05 and eligible to apply on august 10th 09.

It is five (5) years (or in the alternative, if you for three years have been married to and live with a person who is a United States citizen, it is three (3) years) after the "resident since" date printed on your green card. You can submit your N-400 application within 90 days before your actual fifth or third anniversary date. This presupposes that you meet the continuous and physican presence tests the law imposes on naturalization applicants.

that means being an asylee i have to wait 5 years........which is in 2010 march....and i can apply 90 days b 4 my date .thanks for clearifecation.
