Electronically Scanned Fingerprinting

Does anybody know of any service center in Illinois or Indiana, which does electronically scanned fingerprinting? Any phone numbers or contact info would be greatly appreciated. Also is it true that electronically scanned fingerprints (as opposed to the ink based prints) are normally not rejected because they can be checked then and there?

I did the finger printing yesterday via the optical scan machine. The lady at the ASC said that the rejection rate for optical scan is very low compared to ink. In fact, the FBI has already processed my FP and sent the results back to the INS (in less than 12 hours).

N Allur,

how did you know that the FBI had already processed your FPs and sent the results to INS? What organization provided that information to you?

Thanks in advance for the information!
Pat
