I thought it was logical to presume that the DQ process would help with the accuracy of civil documents. For example, if you’re missing a document during submission, you’d get a request for it and therefore ultimately attend your interview documentarily complete because it, or any other mistakes, were brought to your attention well beforehand.
Maybe it was a stupid question. This is not about a specific case, I was just thinking about the bigger picture. This whole process has made me reflect on how hard it must’ve been for my mom when she immigrated to Canada many years ago - all the bureaucracy she must’ve faced alone as a single mother without much education and resources. I think of people like her when I think of the average applicant, and I think a DQ process would’ve helped her as I’m certain she would’ve missed a document or brought the wrong one.
