None..your case will start being processed only when you submit the paperwork. In fact, you can ignore the old registration and create a new one after 2 months when you are ready to apply and you will get a new number. After you submit the docs, you get a File # which is what the processing is based on and which also appears on the U visa and the OCI booklet. Registering ahead is not going to keep your app at the front of the "Q"I have registered online for my OCI application. Due to a personel reason I would like to hold the actual (paper) submission by 2 months. Any body has any idea ,what if any, effect will it have on OCI approval.
Thank you
