educational certificates doesn't have surname

Hi friends,

The name on my Passport and all the experience letters and certificates is "Deepak Singh".
But the name on my educational certificates i.e. 10th,12th and degree certificates is "Deepak". i.e. my educational certificates does not have my surname "Singh".

So, If applying for H1 Visa ,will there be any issue or is it ok ?

you dont need 10, 12th certificates for H1. if your degree, exp letters have "Deepak Singh" and passport is also Deepak Singh I dont see problem.

**For future you should keep affidavit that Deepak and Deepak Singh are the same person. Any lawyer from India can get you affidavit made on stamp paper. Provide him copy of your passport first page, copy of all certificates, fathers name, place of birth.

name on passport and degree certificate,exp letters should be same. get your degree certificate corrected or go for name change affidavit. inform the problem to your lawyer and get help from him.
