Education expenses on 1099

Could Education expenses be written off on 1099? I understand that its not a tax forum but I couldn't find the answer to that in my initial internet search and since many of you here are on 1099, I would appreciate a quick response or a link for the same.

Education expenses are not typically a deductible expense, for self-employment. They may be generally deductible, just like for anyone.
