There is an Editorial page article by Ed Gillesspie of our famed QGA associates.

The article is about a Quarter page but I could find no mention of LEGAL IMMIGRATION issues such as RETROGRESSION, backlog, etc.

Not even one sentence! :(

IV folks - did you read that article?

I think its difficult to expect good things from any one in todays world.....where everything is done for a postive reward(profit).......

all the attorneys will be using all their might to legalize the undocumented worker.....11 million new customers..........wow.....who will not want that.....i do not blame them.

Lawmakers.....particularly the democrats.....they want all the latino votes......

republicans.....they want all the funding from business who depend in illegal immigrants......

where as Legal Immigrants are just few hundred thousand........most of them are smart enough that the do not need an attorney....

too small a number to interest the politicians..........business is not interested because their need will be fulfilled by temporary H1/L1 workers and offshore workforce...

but we do have some backing of business(s.1932 was a handiwork of business lobby)........so i am hopeful of some relief in the next 1 year........but i hope that we dont get swamped by illegals........

you need to learn that media is interested in something exciting, and something public is paying attention to. Being legal is not news and they do not pick it up. And retrogression is the matter which is too deep inside law and avarage people does not even know.

News v/s opinion

GotPR?

Ed Gillespie article was an opinion written by him, not a news item picked up by WSJ.

He being the lobbyist for IV could have written atleast one sentence about LEGAL immigration and retrogression.

Like I had pointed out earlier, when IV hired QGA, QGA does lobbying for latino groups and illegal immigrants. IV, at that point, had indicated they were confident of QGA and were satisfied with whatever QGA had told them regarding their latino clients.

doesn't look like a surprise to me :D

probably they are waiting for share of their fees and have asked people at iv to keep continuing wonderful job of webfaxing.

meanwhile there is a rumour that senate offices are buying advanced ocr softwares which could read fax content and help them filter out anything related to legal, retrogression, india, china, eb* etc etc so that they go straight to the "happy waiting for several yrs" before even hitting the fax machine.

:D :D
