Hello,
I am a dependent child (Age 24) of a primary applicant in the Eb5 program. Our conditional green cards will expire in July 2024, and as per the appropriate procedure, we will file i-829 90 days before our conditional GC expires.
I want to study abroad starting in February 2024, and I will be back to the United states for about a month and a half in June 2024. I have a couple of questions about this:
- Will I have to be present in the United States when my dad files the i-829 ?
-How many weeks after filing the i-829 do we receive the receipt notice ?
- Is it possible to maintain my continuous residence status in the United States if I come back every 4 months and spend 1.5 months in the United States during each visit ? (My parents both live in the United States and I am on their home lease, and I also file taxes here)
