EB3 to EB2 related Question.

Hello,

I have 3 yrs Bachelors degree + 6 yrs experience in IT... so can i apply for EB2 from EB3? Please let me know if anyone have any idea.

Did you have that experience before your current employer? Experience gained with the same employer is generally disregarded. Also, the job must require a Bachelors + 5 years or Masters, in addition to you having those qualifications.

I don't think you are qualified for EB2 with 3 year BS degree and 6 year exp with same employer who filed Eb3.

Yes I had 6 yrs experience before the my current employer. Only my concern is 3 yrs BS degree.

3 year Degree may create problem
even if you are eligible for EB2 all depends on job advertisement for LC and education requirement for that job. You should get education evaluation(ask your company lawyer). It depends on your employer to file LC in Eb3 or Eb2(if you qualify)
