EB3 to EB2 port/interlinking

Hi All,

Please help me in this regard. Your input is highly appreciated.

I have been working with employer A, applied 140, 485 and it is under EB3 category. My 140 is got approved and 485 is in pending. Priority date is Jul'2004.

Applied labor, 140 under EB2 category with employer B. My 140 got approved with the EB3 priority date and it is Jul'2004. This 140 was approved 5 months back.

Filed the 485 interlinking/porting three months back but I haven't received any reponse from USCIS.

#1. Do I need to file 485 again from employer B.
#2. Whom do I need to work for while my 485 application is in pending, for employer A or B
#3. Do I need to file AC21 if I would like start working for employer B while my 485 application is in pending.

Please let me know.

------No. you have made request to Interfile your EB2 I-140 with Pending I-485 by sending cover letter and providing the Copy of Eb2 I-140 approval notice and Copy of your Pending I-485 filing reciept and job offer letter of of B.
#2. Whom do I need to work for while my 485 application is in pending, for employer A or B
---------GC is for future job. you can be with A or B.#
3. Do I need to file AC21 if I would like start working for employer B while my 485 application is in pending.
-----Not needed as you requested Interfiling and send B job offer letter to approve pending I-485 on the base of B letter

What do I need to do, to move my 485 application forward. How do I know whether my 485 is under EB2 or EB3 category now?

------ You cant know as USCIS dont sent any letter that they have interfiled your new I-140 with your I-485. Talk to your lawyer if he can find info.

Filed EB3 to EB2 interfiling in Jan'10. My priority date is Sept'04 and which is current now.

Recently opened a service request with USCIS regarding my 485 application since it is current.

Received a letter from USCIS and by stating below information. What does it mean and what do I need to do next.

Here is letter contents from USCIS ---------------------
Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
