Eb3 - Time Frame

Hello, All.
I am planning to apply from VSC with eb3 category .
How long will it take to get approval of I-140 & 485, approximate time frame.
lawyer says aroud 4 to 6 months?

Is anybody have some idea about this..

Though most of EB3 140 applications as of now are being processed in 4-8 months timeframe, 485s are taking anywhere between 2-3 years. You must have also heard about EB3's about to be made non-current soon (which means they will be kept aside to wait until their PD becomes current).

But with all the new guidelines and memos floating around, there seems to be lot of uncertainity as to how the timeframe is going to change in near future.

Non-Current means....you cannot apply for 485 unless visa numbers are available. In this case, you will have to file your I-140 and after its approval, wait for your PD (Priority Date) to become current to file your I-485.

Currently, they are all current which is permitting all applicants to apply 140 and 485 concurrently.
