The bill includes much of the Real ID Act of 2005, which was included in the House-passed version of the bill. The provisions on asylum, the border infrastructure, and driver’s licenses are included; the alien bond and surety provision was not included. The conference bill also includes the Mikulski amendment regarding caps on temporary seasonal workers (H-2B). Additionally, the Hutchison amendment recapturing unused EB3 visas and the Frist amendment regarding Australian visas were included.
