just 1 month, that SUCKS

What was the reason mentioned. Because they asked for same set of docs from me too in Nov and till now there is not response. My PD is april12-2002.
thanks

Priority dates have no meaning. Neither does the Processing times show on USCIS board. Look at my signature. Nothing is pending on my case (not even name check) except adjudication. On saturday I received a response from my senator saying that USCIS has kept my case was in wrong pile. iN the same letter the USCIS lady promised the senator that the file was now moved to right queue and that I should hear within 60 days. Not sure if this means that I will hear another reason for they not doing their job within 60 days or that they will adjudicate the case? Earlier last week, in response to my expedite request, USCIS replied that they cannot adjudicate my case as no visas were available. If no visas are available, whey are they moving the Priority dates?

You are right... we understand your agony & pain LiveAndLetLive

You are right & we understand your agony & pain LiveAndLetLive...first they put your in "wrong pile" & when you passed PD then Visas NOT available...

Whats going on in NSC..only moving PD's slowly for sake of moving???

Thanks malia. Appreciate your sympathy. Best of luck to you too.

They find various reasons to quote when asked why you are not doing the job....that is the typical tendency of people who have low in these....'pay/knowledge/work consciousness'. The saying 'Government Job is God's job' is very well applicable. God is not there to ask them when they are alive.....that's why we are in this kind of suffering :(

Really It sucks , It moved only one month.....

My PD is JUNE 12 th.....First of all, MY PD has become current, then some one need to touch my file and approve......

Looks like another 8 months Wait...... I hate this Retro..........

This sucks, Now it moves by month by month.
I was expecting a good move this month. Now if they do like this for another six months, then DOL backlog cases will come in and the PD will never move once the cases from DOL backlog cases were approved....

Only God can question them. Unfortunately they would get to see god not until the death. Don't worry they will give their dues to him?

The reason I can think why they are moving one month at a time is....their computer system built in late seventies and earlies eighties cannot handle the business process of 21st century. They won't recognize that mistake....whoever thought of concurrent processing during 2004 should be taken to task. They approved cases left and right causing this huge backlog citing numerical limitation. :( :(

Its moving month to month because there are only limited number of visas available!! If they move the PD to say Oct 2002, they will need to insure that they have visa numbers for cases eligible for those PD. Its got nothing to do with their workload.

MANNNN!!WHY SHOULD SUCH A SITUATION EVEN ARISE.CANT THEY DO THINGS IN AN ORDER.THEY COULD HAVE APPROVED THOSE CASES FIRST AND THEN ONLY THEY COULD HAVE APPROVED THOSE CASES WHICH WERE FILED LATER.HAD THEY DONE THAT,THERE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD A BACKLOG.ITS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE THROUGH IT THAT THEY DO JUSTICE TO ALL.
JUST BECAUSE MY NAME DOESNT SEEM FUNKY,OR I DONT REPRESENT YOUR FAVOURITE GEMINI SIGN OR THAT I WRITE ONLY IN CAPITALS,WOULD THIS SITE'S MODERATOR STOP POSTING MY MESSAGES ON THEIR WEBSITE???
THIS IS RECKLESSNESS ON THE USCIS PART.ATLEAST WE WOULD NOT HAVE ENVISIONED AN APPROVAL SO CLOSE BUT TRULY FAR AWAY.WE ARE ALL BORN IN INDIA,THEN WHY ARE WE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST EACH OTHER WHILE APPROVING.DO THESE GUYS WANT US TO FIGHT AMONGST EACH OTHER??WHATS THEIR MOTIVE???GEORGE BUSH CANNOT PRONOUNCIATE SOME WORDS PROPERLY,ITS HIS BIRTH DEFECT.HIS DEPUTIES IN USCIS CANNOT FUNCTION PROPERLY,THEY ARE AUTISTIC.
