EB3 Priority date (PD) < 2002 and waiting on their 485 approval ?

Hi HaraKad,

I noticed that too. On 3/7/06, I got this reply from CSC:

"The files at question have been assigned to an officer for review. If all is in
order, a decision should be made shortly."

I am still waiting, it should happen any day, but we seem to see only
EB2 approvals.

My question is, once cases are assigned to officers, do EB2s have
precedence over EB3s?

I think that EB2 does get preferance over EB3.

I was just reading about the same issue in Texas Service Centre forum. They have in fact created a spreadsheet for all the pending EB3 cases and I was surprised to know that there are so many of them like us:

I am on the same boat.

EB-3(india) , PD: 11/7/2001
I-140 ND: 1/30/2004, AD : 3/10/2005
I-485 ND: 1/30/2004

On my last enquiry Mr.Cruz said that my case is presently reviewd by an offficer and it will take about 30 days. I got this reply on 2/24/2006, still waiting....

Did you get approved? Just checking on you....
