EB3 - long wait

I'm on EB3, passed all GC phases, even I got EAD card (I765), my priority date is 10/2005 and I'm still waiting to get my green card, nobody contacted me from the gov side yet regarding interviews or anything, asked the lawyer many times and she keeps saying, your case is pending

What is your country of birth?
Is PD current for you and for your country of birth?

All of EB3 is backlogged by a number of years. With your PD in 2005, you won't hear anything from them (apart from fingerprint appointments) for at least another year or two (maybe 5 or 10 years if you're in EB3 India). And most employment-based cases don't require an interview.

If you haven't given fingerprints, that's a problem and you should make an Infopass appointment to find out why. Otherwise, all you can do is sit and wait until they reach Oct. 2005, making sure to renew your EAD/AP when they expire.
